Prologue – Black Dragon

In a world called Lafin, there exists multiple races; humans, beastmen, dwarves, elves, fairy, demons and dragons. Among these races, the race called dragons, are the strongest. What’s so special about them is that they can morph into any form; not an illusion, but a real transformation, thus they can blend well with the humans, and even among the other races. They are said to equal the power of Gods, or perhaps, they may even be God themselves. Though the other races are often in conflict with each other, they never dare to offend the dragons, otherwise they’ll be annihilated.
And among the dragon race, there exist an existence far beyond the other peers.
“Haaahh” A sigh came out from the mouth of a young man around the age of 16-18 years.
“It’s been around 100 years, since I came to this world from Earth.” Said the young man despairingly.
“Ahh! How I miss my homeland –– haaah. I’ve been wondering around this world, hoping to find a way to return back home, but to no avail, maybe I just have bad luck?”
“I was just suddenly summoned to this world for unknown reasons, and what? I became a dragon! What the heck? Is God messing with me!? Or so I thought at first, fortunately, somehow I have the knowledge of all the abilities a dragon could have, otherwise, I can’t even go to towns with humans and the like.”
“Well, I’m thankful that I’ve been given a cheat ability even for a dragon, I mean, the heck? Dragons likes to compare notes with each other, and even I was not spared of that logic. I was suddenly challenge, and boom! F*ck, I just beat a dragon to a pulp!”
Indeed, this young man came from Earth. His name is Kurosaki Ryuu, a college student.
A hundred years ago on Earth, while cutting classes, since he’s often bullied due to his good looks while being poor, wondered around the neighborhood, and was suddenly summoned here from Earth after stepping on a magic circle. At first, he thought it was just some otaku(though, he’s an otaku himself), vandalizing, by making some strange and complex magic circle, he proceeded onward, stepping onto the center of the magic circle, thinking that he was being summoned as a hero from another world, when suddenly, the magic circle shone a dazzling light, wrapping him and forcing him to close his eyes. After the bright light faded, he slowly opened his eyes, only to find himself in an unknown land. There, he saw a creature only seen in novels and the like. A dragon! He thought, cold beads drip from his forehead. Suddenly realizing that his line of sight is somehow higher than usual, he lowered his head –– and froze. He actually became a dragon himself! Ha ha, you got to be shittin me!
And that’s how he came from Earth to this world.
“F*ck! Those guys! If I can ever go back, I’ll beat them to a pulp. Watch this daddy bully you and screw you over!” Suddenly remembering those memories, he can’t help but fume with anger.
“Sigh –– like I can even go home –– I wonder how many times I wondered around just to find a way back –– hmm?” Cutting off his words, suddenly in the corner of his eyes, can be seen from far away, a ruined shrine, or more like, is it a temple? How come I haven’t seen that place before. Murmured Ryuu. What caught his attention is not the ruined shrine or temple, but the magic circle in front of it. Thanks to his eyes, as dragon, his vision is far beyond that of other races. Even small object from far away, can be zoomed in like it’s in front of you.
“Isn’t that!?” Seeing the magic circle, his spirit lit up.
He hurriedly invoke a teleportation magic towards the direction of the temple, and in no time, arrived in front of the magic circle.
“Huuuhh” Breathing a cold air, he joyfully said: “It’s really the same magic circle on Earth from hundred years ago!”
Suddenly seeing this familiar magic circle, he crazily jump like a kid who got a new toy.
“Hahaha! Finally, there is hope!” Without even giving a shit about the snot in his nose from crying out of joy, he hastily ran onto the center of the magic circle without even a moment of hesitation, like he did a hundred years ago.
But –– 10 seconds passed by, a minute, and there is still no reaction. Seeing this, Ryuu’s despair floated once again.
“Ehh? Why is it not working?” while muttering, he got out of the magic circle.
But, finally finding hope, he won’t just give up that easily.
“Hmm, I wonder what’s different”
He thought back to the time a hundred years ago, to the time he was summoned.
“If I remember correctly, when I stepped onto the magic circle, hmmm –– Ohhh!!!”
“That’s right! Before the magic circle shone, I was thinking that I’m a being from another world.”
Immediately after he thought of such idea, he hurriedly ran back again onto the magic circle, thinking of returning back to Earth.
This time, in less than a second, the magic circle shone a dazzling light, just like before. But unlike before, he didn’t close his eyes, he wanted to witness and itch into his memory, of him leaving this world. This world’s magical energy is much, much denser than the Earth’s magical energy, thus activating the magic circle in an instant.
Glancing at the world he probably won’t go back again, he silently said: “Farewell, Lafin.”
And with that, he vanished from the world of Lafin.
